Karnataka, IRCTC team up to offer special sacred yatra. Here’s more…

Bengaluru: The Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with IRCTC, has announced the launch of the Karnataka Bharat Gaurav Dakshina Yatra, an exclusive six-day pilgrimage and heritage tour from June 25 to 30 2025, covering several sacred destinations:

The tour details are as follows:

Kanniyakumari: Bhagavathi Temple and Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

Thiruvananthapuruam: Padmanabhaswamy temple.

Rameswaram: Ramanathaswamy Temple.

Madurai: Meenakshi Temple.

Following are the highlights of the tour:

  • AC III-Tier journey on Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train
  • Comfortable stay in non-AC twin/triple sharing rooms (one night each at Kanniyakumari and Rameswaram)
  • All meals, sightseeing by non-AC buses, tour escorts, and onboard security included.
  • Travel insurance and dedicated IRCTC Train Manager services.

 

The boarding points are: Belagavi, Hubballi, Haveri, Davangere, Birur, Tumakuru, and SMVT Bengaluru

The cost of the tour is Rs. 15,000 per head. A special subsidy of Rs. 5,000 is being offered for Karnataka domicile passengers by the Government of Karnataka.
