At Renewable Asia and Energy Expo in Bengaluru, KREDL showcases its green quotient

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) is showcasing the State’s renewable energy innovations and green initiatives at the Renewable Asia and Energy Expo, being held alongside the “ELASIA 2026” exhibition from May 14 to 17 at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in the city.

KREDL has opened its stall at the expo venue, where it is presenting various initiatives and technological advancements that are contributing towards Karnataka’s clean energy transition.

It also highlights the organization’s efforts in promoting sustainable energy solutions, enhancing energy security, and supporting the State’s growing power requirements.

With Karnataka witnessing rising electricity demand driven by industrial growth, urbanisation, and evolving energy consumption patterns, the importance of a robust and flexible energy ecosystem has become increasingly evident.

The State’s focus on decentralised renewable energy, smart grid integration, and diversified energy sources is expected to play a key role in strengthening energy reliability and long-term sustainability.

KREDL has been actively driving innovation through initiatives such as solar-wind hybrid parks, battery energy storage systems, and early-stage green hydrogen pilot projects.

These initiatives are aimed not only at expanding renewable energy capacity but also at building a resilient and future-ready energy ecosystem for Karnataka.

Expressing his views on KREDL’s participation, K.P. Rudrappaiah, MD, KREDL, said, “Karnataka has consistently remained at the forefront of India’s renewable energy sector through progressive policies, innovation-driven initiatives, and strong institutional support. Through our participation at the Renewable Asia and Energy Expo and ELASIA 2026, KREDL aims to showcase the State’s achievements in clean energy while also exploring collaborations and emerging technologies that can further strengthen Karnataka’s sustainable energy future. Our focus remains on building a resilient, efficient, and future-ready energy ecosystem for the State.”

KREDL officials present at the venue are also providing visitors with detailed information on the organisation’s projects, services, renewable energy initiatives, and technological implementations.
