Soon in Bengaluru: A contest that promises ‘Acche Dine’

WOHXpo Bengaluru 2026 is all set to celebrate skill, creativity, precision and innovation in hospitality through two of its most anticipated live competitions — the Incredible Chef Challenge 2026 and the debut edition of the Incredible Housekeeping Team Challenge 2026, to be held from June 4-6 at Tripuravasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.

Organised by the World of Hospitality, the platform aims to bring together hospitality professionals, culinary experts, students, executive housekeepers and hospitality leaders from across India to showcase their talent and operational excellence in front of the industry.

The Incredible Chef Challenge 2026, hosted in association with South India Chefs Association (SICA), will feature a series of high-energy culinary competitions across multiple categories including live cooking, artistic bakery showpiece, pre-plated appetisers, Karnataka Cuisine Challenge, vegetable carving, bakery arts and more.

The challenge will witness participation from leading hotels, restaurants, culinary academies, and hospitality institutes across the country.

The competition will be judged by some of the most respected names from the culinary fraternity, bringing decades of experience and mentorship to the platform.

Padma Shri Dr. Chef Damodaran K, a jury member, said: “Platforms like the Incredible Chef Challenge are essential for nurturing culinary talent and encouraging professionals and students to push the boundaries of creativity, discipline, and innovation. Hospitality is built on passion, precision, and continuous learning, and competitions like these inspire the next generation to strive for excellence. We have been collaborating with WOH for many years and are happy to come back together to promote the culinary journey of our nation.”

Adding a fresh dimension to this year’s expo is the launch of the Incredible Housekeeping Team Challenge 2026, being hosted for the very first time at WOHXpo Bengaluru in association with Professional Housekeepers Association (PHA).

Designed as a platform to recognise the precision, creativity, teamwork, and discipline of housekeeping professionals, the competition will feature participation from leading hotels and hospitality institutions.

The challenge will include engaging categories such as Bed Making Competition and Towel Art Challenge, where housekeeping teams will demonstrate operational expertise, presentation standards, creativity, speed, and guest-room excellence in a live competitive format.

With industry-leading exhibitors, networking forums, live demonstrations, conclaves, competitions and honours platforms, WOHXpo Bengaluru 2026 hopes to be one of the largest and most engaging hospitality gatherings in South India.
