Bengaluru witnesses ‘a feat with feet’, with over 6,000 enthusiastic participants

The second edition of Freedom Bengaluru Half Marathon 2026 concluded successfully with an overwhelming participation of 6500-plus runners from across the country.

Held at the iconic NICE Road stretch, Bengaluru came alive as thousands of runners gathered before sunrise with one shared purpose — to challenge themselves, celebrate fitness, and become part of something much bigger than a race.

The event brought together seasoned athletes, first-time runners, fitness enthusiasts, corporates, families, and running communities under one platform, creating an atmosphere filled with energy, passion, determination and community spirit.

Participants competed across three professionally timed race categories — 21.1K Half Marathon, 10K Run and 5K Run.

From the excitement at the start line to the emotions at the finish line, the event witnessed inspiring performances, personal victories, and countless stories of resilience.

For many participants, it was more than just completing a race — it was about overcoming challenges, achieving personal goals, and celebrating the journey.
