Think tickets — train, bus, flight or stay — Act Rapido. Here’s why…

Bengaluru: In a landmark move that redefines how India moves and travels, Rapido, the country’s leading ridesharing platform and one of its youngest unicorns, has announced the launch of India’s first homegrown one-stop travel solution within the mobility sector.

Through strategic collaborations with Goibibo for hotel and flight bookings, redBus for inter-city bus bookings, and ConfirmTkt for train travel, Rapido is integrating the entire spectrum of travel — from the first mile to the last — into a single, affordable, and easy-to-use platform.

With this initiative, Rapido officially becomes India’s first mobility-led travel super app, uniting daily commutes and long-distance travel under one roof. Whether it’s a quick ride to the airport or a family getaway, users can now plan, book, and manage their entire journey seamlessly through the Rapido app.

Aravind Sanka, Co-Founder, Rapido, said: “Rapido has always stood for simplifying travel and making it affordable for everyone. With this launch, we’re extending that promise from daily rides to long-distance journeys. What excites us most is unlocking travel for Bharat — for millions in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities where inclusivity, affordability, and trust matter most. From the first mile to the last, Rapido is shaping the future of mobility and travel as a true one-stop partner for every Indian. We are grateful to our partners for joining us on this transformative journey.”

Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and Group CEO, MakeMyTrip, added: “We are delighted to partner with Rapido as part of our continued effort to expand access to digital travel across Bharat. This collaboration will enable more users in smaller cities and towns to book flights, hotels, and buses effortlessly, further deepening digital adoption in India’s booming travel ecosystem.”

Dinesh Kumar Kotha, CEO, ConfirmTkt&ixigo Trains, said: “At ConfirmTkt, we’ve always aimed to make train travel seamless and accessible for every Indian. This partnership with Rapido allows millions of new users to plan and book train journeys with ease and confidence, enhancing convenience and affordability across the country.”

The new ‘Travel’ section within the Rapido app allows users to explore flights, hotels, buses, and trains — each powered by the respective partners through a secure and intuitive booking flow.

With over 50 million monthly active users, Rapido is now uniquely positioned to bridge India’s last-mile mobility with long-distance travel, enabling millions of Indians to transition to digital-first travel planning.

India’s overall travel market, currently valued at ₹5.8 trillion ($72 billion), is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14 percent by FY26.

However, with less than 40 percent of travel bookings currently online, there remains vast untapped potential for digital adoption.

Rapido’s grassroots presence and affordability make it ideally placed to onboard the next 100 million digital travel users, bringing everyday mobility and aspirational travel together.

This powerful collaboration marks a new chapter in India’s travel story, as digital-first mobility and travel converge to create a seamless, inclusive, and affordable experience for every Indian — from the neighbourhood commute to the dream destination.
