The ‘vault’ is yours, Bengaluru…Be safe, not sorry!

Bengaluru: Aurm, India’s premier safe deposit locker company, is witnessing strong momentum in Bengaluru.

With installations across 20 gated communities and over 5,000 lockers already in use, Aurm is quickly redefining how urban India secures its most valued possessions.

By the end of 2025, the company is estimated to have an installed capacity of 50,000 lockers.

Founded in April 2023 by Vijay Kumar Arisetty, Suraj H S, and Pratap Chandana, Aurm addresses the pressing need for secure, accessible, and automated locker solutions for urban Indians.

Traditional bank lockers often come with long waitlists, limited access hours, and cumbersome procedures. In contrast, Aurm claims to offer 24-hour access to military-grade, fully automated lockers located within the safety of one’s own community, eliminating the need for residents to travel or adhere to restrictive banking hours.

The lockers are designed to accommodate a wide range of storage needs, from gold, jewellery, and documents to rare collectibles.

Each Aurm locker is equipped with advanced security features, including biometric access and real-time monitoring systems, ensuring maximum protection for stored valuables.

Additionally, through partnerships with leading insurers such as Tata AIG General Insurance, every locker comes with comprehensive insurance coverage, providing members with added peace of mind.

The convenience of having a secure locker within close proximity has resonated with Bengaluru’s urban populace, leading to rapid adoption across major neighbourhoods.

Aurm’s model not only claims to offer ease of access, but also integrates seamlessly into the daily lives of residents, making asset protection a hassle-free experience.

Looking ahead, Aurm plans to expand its footprint to other major Indian cities, including Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.

This expansion underscores the company’s commitment to providing innovative, community-centric solutions to asset security challenges faced by modern urban dwellers.

Suraj HS, co-founder, Aurm, told mediapersons: “We started Aurm with a vision to give individuals complete control and peace of mind when it comes to protecting what their prized assets. Urban neighbourhoods today are cities within cities, and our model brings a world-class experience right to their doorsteps. The response from Bengaluru has been incredibly encouraging — it’s clear that there is a growing need for sophisticated, secure solutions that reflect the pace and priorities of modern life.”
