The ‘computer’ turns ‘commuter’ for the consumer: Here’s what this means…

Bengaluru: Dell Technologies on Wednesday unveiled Tech ON Wheels, a mobile experience centre aimed at taking enterprise innovation directly to customers across India.

The initiative underscores Dell’s commitment to making cutting-edge technology accessible by meeting businesses where they operate — across IT parks, business districts and manufacturing hubs.

Over the next six months, from January to June 2026, Tech ON Wheels will traverse 20 cities and over 80 locations nationwide. Beginning its journey in southern India, the mobile showcase will move west and north before culminating in eastern India. Key stops include major business and technology hubs such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, among others.

The initiative was formally inaugurated by Manish Gupta, President and Managing Director, Dell Technologies India, at the company’s office in Embassy Golf Links Business Park, Bengaluru.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony and a guided walkthrough on January 8, the mobile experience centre set off on its first destination in Bengaluru, marking the start of its nationwide journey.

“At Dell Technologies, we believe innovation should meet you where you are,” said Gupta. “With Tech ON Wheels, we are going on the road to connect directly with businesses of all sizes across India. By taking our latest solutions to their doorstep, we are not just showcasing products — we are helping organisations discover technologies tailored to their unique needs, enabling them to solve real-world challenges and accelerate their digital transformation journeys.”

Tech ON Wheels brings Dell’s comprehensive solutions portfolio — ranging from laptops and desktops to servers, monitors and peripherals — directly to customers, offering a hands-on, immersive experience.

The platform is designed for consumers, business leaders and IT decision-makers from large enterprises as well as small and medium businesses, allowing them to explore solutions that enhance productivity, collaboration and operational efficiency.

The mobile experience features a Smart Desk Zone highlighting modern workspace solutions, including Dell Precision Mobile Workstations, Dell Pro Tower Essential desktops, the latest professional monitors, docks and wireless audio accessories.

Visitors can also experience Dell’s newest generation of AI PCs, such as the Dell Pro 13” Premium, Dell Pro 14” Max, Dell Pro Max Premium, along with audio solutions like the Dell Pro Wired Speakerphone and Dell Pro Plus Earbuds (EB525).

On the enterprise infrastructure front, Tech ON Wheels showcases Dell PowerEdge servers, demonstrating how organisations can unlock higher performance and efficiency to maximise output and support evolving workloads.

By combining mobility, expert guidance and hands-on demonstrations, Tech ON Wheels aims to bridge the gap between innovation and implementation —bringing Dell Technologies’ vision of accessible, customer-centric innovation to businesses across India, one city at a time.
