Tata Motors launches Ace Pro — where affordability meets and means business

Bengaluru: In a bold move set to redefine last-mile cargo mobility, Tata Motors recently unveiled the Tata Ace Pro, India’s most affordable four-wheel mini-truck.

Priced attractively at just ₹X.99 lakh, this next-generation vehicle is a beacon of affordability, versatility, and reliability — built to fuel the ambitions of the country’s rising tide of entrepreneurs.

A legacy reinvented

Nearly two decades ago, the original Tata Ace revolutionised small commercial vehicle transport in India. With over 25 lakh units empowering micro-entrepreneurs nationwide, the Ace became a symbol of self-reliance and opportunity. The all-new Tata Ace Pro builds on this remarkable legacy with cutting-edge features and a futuristic edge — launching at a time when India’s entrepreneurial energy is thriving, particularly in cities like Bengaluru, Mangalore, and Hubballi.

Speaking at the launch, Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors, said: “The Ace Pro is more than just a mini-truck. It is a powerful enabler for every aspiring business owner in India — from e-commerce deliveries to daily goods transport. Engineered for safety, stability, and profitability, the Ace Pro empowers people to dream bigger and drive forward.”

Built for every Indian entrepreneur

The Ace Pro is available in three fuel options — Petrol, Bi-Fuel (CNG + Petrol), and Electric — ensuring it caters to a wide range of business needs and geographies:

  • In urban metros like Bengaluru, the Ace Pro EV is ideal for last-mile logistics, warehouse-to-doorstep deliveries, and green city operations.
  • In coastal Karnataka and northern regions such as Mangalore and Hubballi, the Bi-Fuel variant offers unbeatable cost-efficiency and range flexibility.
  • For semi-urban and rural entrepreneurs, the Petrol model provides easy accessibility and low maintenance for general use.

Smartly engineered for bigger dreams

Designed on a modular platform, the Tata Ace Pro doesn’t just carry cargo — it carries the future. Key highlights include:

  1. Payload of 750 kg with a versatile 6.5 ft deck
  2. Multiple Load Body Options (half-deck or flatbed) for diverse needs like container logistics, reefer applications, or municipal use
  3. Powertrain Options tailored for profit and performance:
  • Petrol: 694cc, 30bhp, 55Nm
  • Bi-Fuel: 26bhp (CNG mode) with 5L petrol backup
  • Electric: 38bhp, 104Nm torque, 155km range with IP67-rated motor and battery

Driver-centric design and technology

The Ace Pro raises the bar in comfort and control. It features a car-like cabin with ergonomic seats, large storage spaces, and intuitive controls. Safety is a top priority with an AIS096 crash-compliant cabin and enhanced visibility features.

Digital convenience gets a boost with a digital instrument cluster, optional infotainment system, and Fleet Edge — Tata Motors’ intelligent telematics platform. With real-time tracking, predictive maintenance, driver behaviour insights, and Gear Shift Advisor, transporters can maximize uptime and safety.

Combined with easy financing options from leading banks and NBFCs — including quick approvals and flexible EMI plans — owning an Ace Pro has never been more seamless.

Empowering the dreams of India

Pinaki Haldar, Vice-President and Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors, summed it up aptly: “Ace Pro is purpose-built to unlock income potential in every corner of India. Be it delivering goods across city streets, rural roads, or coastal highways — the Ace Pro is ready for all of India, with all of India behind the wheel.”

As India’s logistics needs evolve with the boom in digital commerce, hyperlocal supply chains, and green transportation, the Tata Ace Pro arrives at just the right time — as a symbol of aspiration, mobility, and transformation.
