Special train services extended by South Western Railway. Read on…

Bengaluru: To clear the extra rush of passengers, the following special trains have been extended with existing timings and stoppages. Details are as under:

  1. Train No. 06555 SMVT Bengaluru–Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Special Express, earlier notified to run up to 30 May, 2025, is now extended for 17 additional trips from 6 June to 26 September, 2025.
  2. Train No. 06556 Thiruvananthapuram North–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special Express, earlier notified to run up to 1 June, 2025, is now extended for 17 additional trips from 8 June to 28 September, 2025.
  3. Train No. 02863 Santragachi–Yesvantpur Weekly Special, earlier notified to run up to 24 April, 2025, is now extended for six additional trips from 22 May to 26 June, 2025.
  4. Train No. 02864 Yesvantpur–Santragachi Weekly Special, earlier notified to run up to 26 April, 2025, is now extended for six additional trips from 24 May to 28 June, 2025.

Train Nos. 02863/02864 will now have an additional stoppage at Yelahanka Junction. The timings of the additional stoppage at Yelahanka Junction will be as follows: Train No. 02863 will arrive at 23:18 hrs and depart at 23:20 hrs, while Train No. 02864 will arrive at 04:50 hrs and depart at 04:52 hrs, an official release signed by Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi, Chief Public Relations Officer, South Western Railway, Hubballi, has said.
