Soon, big meeting with industry to guide Karnataka towards becoming manufacturing powerhouse

Bengaluru: On June 10, 2025, the Government of Karnataka will host ‘Uthpadana Manthana’, a one-day strategic conference at Taj West End, Bengaluru.

The event will be chaired by M.B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka.

Uthpadana Manthana is a high-impact dialogue aimed at crafting a clear and actionable roadmap to transform Karnataka into a global manufacturing powerhouse.

The event will convene top CEOs, high-growth startups, and industry leaders for focused deliberations across six high-potential sectors:

  1. Aerospace and Defence, Space Tech and Drones
  2. Electronics (including Components) and Semiconductors
  3. Capital Goods, Machine Tools and Robotics
  4. Auto/Auto-components and Electric Vehicles (EVs)
  5. Textiles (Materials, Technical, MMF)
  6. Consumer Products (FMCG, Footwear, Toys)

“Uthpadana Manthana is a decisive step in Karnataka’s journey to becoming a global manufacturing hub. By bringing together the finest minds from industry, we aim to co-develop strategic solutions that are future-focused, innovation-led, and globally competitive. This platform will help us identify sector-specific growth enablers, unlock investment opportunities, and frame policies grounded in industry realities. We want Karnataka to be a leader in high-value manufacturing, drive exports, and generate sustainable employment,” said Minister Patil.

58 confirmed participants

With 58 industry confirmations, including 10 startups, the conference will feature leadership from prominent companies such as Air India, BIAL, Collins Aerospace, Mahindra Aerospace, Alpha Design Technologies, Pixxel, Texas Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, Applied Materials, Zetwerk, Global Foundries, IFB, and Samvardhana Motherson.

Confirmed participants include CEOs, founders, Managing Directors, and CTOs, all contributing toward building strategic recommendations and guiding sector-specific policy actions.
