Under the theme “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened,” the event honoured the journey, achievements, and aspirations of 79 graduating students.

A standout moment of the ceremony was the Valedictorian Award being jointly presented to identical twin sisters, a first in CIS history. Their shared speech celebrated the strength of sibling bonds and the importance of collaboration, earning a standing ovation from those in attendance.

In the United States, students gained admission to elite institutions including Brown University, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins University, and many others.

Across the Atlantic, CIS students earned placements at top UK universities such as the London School of Economics, King’s College London, and Loughborough University. Closer to home, students have been accepted to leading Indian institutions including Ashoka University, BITS Pilani and several prestigious others.

Additionally, graduates will be attending University of Hong Kong and renowned Australian universities like the University of Sydney and the University of Western Australia, among others.

On the occasion, Shweta Sastri, Managing Director of CIS, said:  “This graduation marks a dual celebration — our students’ outstanding achievements and 25 years of delivering the IBDP, which continues to set the gold standard for global education. We are honoured to have led the way in Bengaluru and beyond.”
