Ather Energy and Salesforce join hands to revolutionize customer, dealer experience

Bengaluru: In a landmark partnership, Ather Energy, one of India’s leading electric two-wheeler (E2W) manufacturers, has joined hands with Salesforce, the world’s top AI-powered CRM, to transform dealership operations and enhance customer experiences.

This collaboration introduces a first-of-its-kind Dealer Management System (DMS) designed to unify Ather’s Lead Management System (LMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and dealer operations on a single, scalable platform.

With a rapidly expanding network of 350 dealers across India and ambitious growth plans on the horizon, Ather Energy is committed to delivering seamless and agile business operations.

The newly developed ‘Ather Dealer Central,’ powered by Salesforce, is a next-generation DMS that empowers dealers with real-time insights, AI-driven decision-making, and mobile accessibility —ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.

The solution will be available on a mobile app, allowing Ather’s dealer partners to manage operations on the go, enhance customer interactions, and drive efficiency in the expanding EV market.

By leveraging Salesforce’s industry-leading capabilities, Ather Energy aims to set a new benchmark for dealership management and customer engagement in India.

Ravneet S. Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, highlighted the significance of this collaboration saying: “At Ather, our approach to the dealer management system was to develop a solution that is agile, scalable, and truly customer-centric. With ‘Ather Dealer Central,’ we are reimagining how EV dealerships operate. This unified, intelligent platform seamlessly connects every aspect of the dealer ecosystem, providing unprecedented insights, mobility, and efficiency to our dealer partners. It represents a strategic asset that will shape the future of EV retail and customer engagement in India.”

Mankiran Chowhan, Vice-President, Financial Services and Consumer Industries, Salesforce India, emphasized how this partnership will drive innovation in India’s EV market:

He said: “As India’s EV sector evolves, customer experience will be a key differentiator, with consumers seeking seamless, technology-driven interactions while making eco-conscious choices. The partnership also introduces Salesforce’s AI-driven innovation —Agentforce — a new digital labour solution enabling companies to deploy autonomous AI agents across business functions.

These AI agents will enhance efficiency, optimize operations, and redefine customer engagement by working alongside human teams, amplifying capabilities, and delivering results at unprecedented speed.
