Where speed meets comfort: TVS unveils NTORQ 150, India’s first hyper sport scooter

Bengaluru: TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a global leader in two- and three-wheeler mobility, recently announced the launch of the TVS NTORQ 150, India’s first Hyper Sport Scooter in Bengaluru.

Priced at an introductory ₹1,19,000 (ex-showroom, all India), the NTORQ 150 raises the bar in performance, design, and connected technology, making it the quickest and most advanced scooter in its class.

Powered by a 149.7cc O3CTech engine, the NTORQ 150 churns out 13.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm, accelerating from 0–60 kmph in just 6.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 104 kmph.

With segment-first ABS and Traction Control, the scooter delivers confidence-inspiring control for both everyday rides and adrenaline-pumping sprints.

Inspired by stealth aircraft design

Sculpted with a futuristic edge, the NTORQ 150 takes inspiration from stealth aircraft. From its MULTIPOINT® projector headlamps and aerodynamic winglets to its ‘T’-shaped LED tail lamps and stubby performance muffler, every detail is designed to embody raw power and speed.

A naked motorcycle-style handlebar, sporty alloy wheels, and jet-inspired vents add to its aggressive, race-bred stance.

Technology that thinks ahead

Reinforcing its tech-savvy DNA, the NTORQ 150 comes with a gaming-console-inspired hi-res TFT cluster powered by TVS SmartXonnect™, offering over 50 connected features.

Riders can enjoy turn-by-turn navigation, live vehicle tracking, last parked location, social media alerts, call/message notifications, and even OTA updates.

Taking connectivity a notch higher, the scooter debuts segment-first Alexa integration and smartwatch pairing, giving Gen Z riders a seamless and intuitive experience on the go.

The adaptive display with a four-way navigation switch ensures effortless control.

Safety meets comfort

Beyond performance, TVS has prioritized rider safety and comfort. With ABS, Traction Control, hazard lamps, crash and theft alerts, follow-me headlamps, and emergency brake warning, the NTORQ 150 is as protective as it is powerful.

Comfort is enhanced through telescopic suspension, adjustable brake levers, a patented E-Z centre stand, and a spacious 22-litre under-seat storage.

A new benchmark in the scooter segment

Speaking at the launch, Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President — Head Commuter and EV Business and Head Corporate Brand and Media, TVS Motor Company, said: “Over two million NTORQians and 50 self-managed ride communities define the relationship between one of India’s most loved brands and its riders. The all-new NTORQ 150 is designed to meet the high-performance aspirations of Gen Z. With its hyper futuristic design, hyper tuned performance, and hyper connected technology, it will thrill riders and strengthen the NTORQ brand franchise.”
