The Rangoli Metro Art Center (RMAC), Bengaluru’s premier cultural destination adjacent to MG Road Metro Station, has invited musicians and music lovers from across the city to celebrate World Music Day on 21 June 2026, a BMRCL release says.

The event will provide an open platform for artists of all ages and genres to showcase their talent before a live audience. From Indian classical, carnatic and Hindustani music to Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Folk, Fusion and contemporary music, performers from every musical tradition are invited to participate in the festival.

The day-long celebrations will feature live performances across multiple venues within the Rangoli Metro Art Center, including its intimate 120-seat auditorium and open-air performance spaces.

A special highlight of the event will be Bengaluru’s iconic Community Drum Jam led by renowned musicians Vasundhara Das and Roberto Narain.

Since 2014, this unique community event has brought together people from all walks of life in a joyful celebration of rhythm, creativity and collective expression.

Musicians wishing to perform are invited to register by email, providing details of their performance, genre, duration. Performance slots will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability, the release adds.

Musicians and performers wishing to participate can email the organizers at rangoli@bmrc.co.in, or walk-in for registration at the RMAC on any day between 11 am and 5 pm. Registrations will close at 5 pm on 19 June 2026.
