Special trains commissioned between Muzaffarpur–Hubballi and Danapur–Yesvantpur

Bengaluru: East Central Railway has notified the operation of weekly special trains between Muzaffarpur–SSS Hubballi and Danapur–Yesvantpur to clear the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Deepavali and Chhath festivals.

  1. Train No. 05543/05544 Muzaffarpur–SSS Hubballi–Muzaffarpur Special (06 trips):

Train No. 05543 will depart from Muzaffarpur at 12:45 hrs every Friday from 10.10.2025 to 14.11.2025 and will arrive at SSS Hubballi at 12:20 hrs on Monday. In the return direction, Train No. 05544 will leave SSS Hubballi at 09:00 hrs every Tuesday from 14.10.2025 to 18.11.2025 and will reach Muzaffarpur at 05:00 hrs on Friday.

Both trains will make six trips in each direction.

The train will have stoppages at Motipur, Chakia, Bapudham Motihari, Sagauli Jn., Bettiah, Narkatiaganj Jn., Bagaha, Kaptanganj Jn., Gorakhpur Jn., Gonda Jn., Aishbagh, Kanpur Central, Orai, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Bina Jn., Bhopal Jn., Itarsi Jn., Amla Jn., Nagpur, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Ramagundam, Kazipet Jn., Kacheguda, Mahabubnagar, Dhone, Dharmavaram Jn., Hindupur, Yelahanka Jn., Tumakuru, Arsikere Jn., Birur Jn., Chikjajur Jn., Davangere, Ranibennur, and SMM Haveri stations in both directions.

The train will consist of 22 coaches, including 2 AC 2-Tier, 2 AC 3-Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, and 2 Second Class-cum-Luggage-cum-Brake Vans with Divyangjan coach.

  1. Train No. 03261/03262 Danapur–Yesvantpur–Danapur Special (12 trips):

Train No. 03261 will depart from Danapur at 10:00 hrs every Saturday from 11.10.2025 to 27.12.2025 and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 21:30 hrs on Tuesday. In the return direction, Train No. 03262 will leave Yesvantpur at 07:00 hrs every Tuesday from 14.10.2025 to 30.12.2025 and will reach Danapur at 12:00 hrs on Thursday.

Both trains will make 12 trips in each direction.

The train will have stoppages at Ara Jn., Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Chheoki Jn., Manikpur Jn., Satna, Katni Jn., Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi Jn., Amla Jn., Nagpur, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Ramagundam, Kazipet Jn., Kacheguda, Mahabubnagar, Dhone, Dharmavaram Jn., Hindupur, and Yelahanka stations in both directions.

The train will consist of 22 coaches, including 2 AC 2-Tier, 2 AC 3-Tier, 9 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class, and 2 Second Class-cum-Luggage-cum-Brake Vans with Divyangjan coach, a press release by Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi, Chief PRO, South Western Railway, says.
