Special trains between Bengaluru and Belagavi for Ugadi and Ramzan festivals

Bengaluru: To accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Ugadi and Ramzan festivals, the Railway Board has approved the operation of special express trains between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru and Belagavi. The details of the special train services are as follows:

  1. Train No. 06511/06512 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special: Train No. 06511 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi Express Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 7:00 p.m. on March 28, 2025 (Friday) and reach Belagavi at 07:30 a.m. the next day.
  2. Train No. 06512 Belagavi-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special will leave Belagavi at 5:00 p.m. on March 29, 2025 (Saturday) and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 04:30 a.m. the next day.
  3. Train No. 06513/06514 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special: Train No. 06513 SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi Express Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 7:00 p.m. on March 30, 2025 (Sunday) and reach Belagavi at 07:30 a.m. the next day.
  4. Train No. 06514 Belagavi-SMVT Benglaluru Express Special will leave Belagavi at 5:30 p.m. on March 31, 2025 (Monday) and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 04:30 a.m. the next day.

Stoppages: The special trains (06511/12 and 06513/14) will halt at the following stations in both directions: Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa and Khanapur.

Coach Composition: The trains will consist of 1-First AC Coach, 2-AC Two Tier Coaches, 5-AC Three Tier Coaches, 8-Sleeper Class Coaches, 4-General Second Class Coaches and SLR/D coaches.

For reservations, arrival/departure timings, and further details, passengers may visit the official railway website or approach the nearest railway booking counters, an official release signed by Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi, Chief Public Relations Officer, South Western Railway, Hubballi, has said.
