South Western Railway celebrates 11th International Yoga Day

Hubballi: The 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by South Western Railway at the Chalukya Railway Institute, Gadag Road, Hubballi.

The event took place from 6 am to 8 am on Saturday.

Renowned yoga trainer and state-level gold medallist, Usha Moad, led the session, performing various asanas (physical postures) and educating participants on the numerous benefits of incorporating yoga into their daily routines.

She emphasized that practising yoga regularly helped in maintaining mental, physical and emotional health.

The event was graced by Mukul Saran Mathur, General Manager of SWR, Additional General Manager K.S. Jain, and Principal Heads of various departments.

Addressing the gathering, Mathur emphasised the importance of Yoga in daily life and advised everyone to adopt Yoga in their lifestyles.

International Yoga Day was celebrated across the Bengaluru, Hubballi, and Mysuru Divisions, as well as other units of South Western Railway.
