Radisson Group, JSW Sports join hands to spearhead Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025

Bengaluru: Radisson Hotel Group has announced its strategic collaboration with JSW Sports as the official hospitality partner for the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025, further strengthening its position as the preferred hospitality brand for India’s evolving sports landscape.

This collaboration envisages a commitment to partnerships that go beyond just accommodation, and curate athlete-first, culturally relevant and high-performance experiences.

Scheduled for July 5, 2025, at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru, the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 is India’s first international javelin competition, conceptualized and led by Olympic and world champion Neeraj Chopra in collaboration with JSW Sports and sanctioned by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI).

Recognized as a World Athletics ‘Gold’ level event, the meet will bring together the world’s top javelin athletes, including Olympic medalists Thomas Röhler and Anderson Peters, setting a new benchmark for track and field events in India.

As part of the partnership, Radisson Hotel Group will provide exclusive accommodation and quality hospitality to participating athletes, ensuring optimal rest, recovery, and readiness ahead of the sporting event.

Leveraging its expertise in sports hospitality and athlete-centric infrastructure, the group is bringing best-in-class hospitality practices to the heart of India’s sporting movement.

“Our collaboration with JSW Sports for the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 is an extension of our purpose-led approach to hospitality. We are committed to elevating the sports hospitality experience in India by providing athletes with a thoughtfully designed performance-ready environment. From our Sports Approved Program to our athlete-first hotel operations across key markets, this partnership reinforces our growing focus on innovative collaborations. Our vision is to build a high-quality hospitality ecosystem that is performance-driven and aligned with the needs of today’s guests,” said Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.

“We have an existing relationship with Radisson through Bengaluru FC, and we are only glad that it has extended to the Neeraj Chopra Classic. The aspiration is to make this a world class event, and partnerships like the one with Radisson play a big part in helping us achieve that. They have been our go-to when it comes to all things hospitality, and I am certain they will deliver a seamless experience to the event,” said Karan Yadav, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW Sports.

To deepen guest engagement, Radisson Rewards members will enjoy exclusive perks including discounts on tickets. The partnership also unlocks opportunities for athlete-led content, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and digital collaborations will be shared across different digital platforms.
