In defence of style: AIFD students showcase their best of 2025

Bengaluru: Students of the Army Institute of Fashion & Design (AIFD), a premier educational institute established by the Army Welfare Educational Society (AWES) in 2004 to benefit wards of service personnel, recently showcased their creations at Design Dapple, their annual fashion show.

During the show, the students present their final-year design collection of garments ranging from high fashion couture to practical every day corporate and casual wear.

The main themes this year were high fashion couture, inclusive and sustainable fashion.

The event was held at the Rajendra Singhji Army Officers Institute (RSI) recently

Major-General V T Mathew, General Officer Commanding Karnataka and Kerala Sub-Area, and Chairman AWES, Bangalore, presided over the function.
