Bengaluru: In a significant step towards advancing India’s digital and industrial ecosystem, Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Infotek Software and Systems Pvt Ltd, a leading player in RFID and IoT-based solutions.

The two organisations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-develop and deploy next-generation digital transformation solutions powered by Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) technologies, including Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).

The collaboration aims to address critical challenges across industries by introducing scalable, intelligent, and technology-driven systems that enhance operational efficiency, asset visibility, and real-time decision-making.

The MoU exchange ceremony was marked by the presence of key leadership from both organisations. It was formally exchanged between Hemavathy Muthusamy, General Manager (NWCS), BEL, and Ashim Ashok Patil, MD and CEO of i-TEK RFID.

Senior BEL officials, including CMD Manoj Jain, Director (Other Units) Kamesh Kasana, and GM (TP & SP) Ruchi Pant, were also present, underscoring the strategic importance of the partnership.

This collaboration is expected to leverage BEL’s strong expertise in defence electronics and large-scale system integration, combined with i-TEK RFID’s cutting-edge capabilities in RFID and IoT platforms.

Together, the partnership aims to deliver advanced solutions across sectors such as defence logistics, manufacturing, smart infrastructure, and supply chain management.

As industries increasingly shift toward automation and data-driven operations, the BEL–i-TEK alliance signals a strong push toward building smart, connected ecosystems that align with India’s broader vision of digital transformation and self-reliance in critical technologies.
