Mysuru: Mukul Saran Mathur, General Manager of South Western Railway, recently conducted an inspection of Subrahmanya Road Railway Station, which is currently undergoing redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, an official release said.

During the inspection, Mathur reviewed the progress of the ongoing station redevelopment works and emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality standards while ensuring timely completion of works.

The General Manager also took stock of the electrification works underway in the section. He inspected key infrastructure components including curves, bridges, and track parameters to assess operational safety and efficiency.

Special focus was laid on tunnel works in the ghat section, which are crucial for smooth and safe train operations during monsoons.

He was accompanied by DRM (Mysuru) Mudit Mittal, Chief Project Manager (Gati Shakti) Anand Bharati and other senior officials from the Mysuru division.
