Bengaluru: “Sadhguru Sannidhi” in Bengaluru will celebrate the 12th International Day of Yoga on June 21 with a large public event, bringing together more than 2,300 participants from across Karnataka, including NCC cadets, Border Security Force personnel, students, villagers, volunteers, and members of the public.
This year marks the fourth consecutive International Day of Yoga celebration at Sadhguru Sannidhi in Bengaluru.
Since 2015, Isha Foundation has contributed to International Day of Yoga through yoga programmes and outreach initiatives, with this year’s event continuing that commitment to health, wellbeing, and inner transformation through yoga, a release says.
The event is expected to bring together around 1,700 NCC cadets, 200 BSF personnel, 100 villagers, 100 volunteers, and several hundred members of the public, making it one of the larger International Day of Yoga gatherings in the region.
A key highlight of the event will be the Kannada launch of Miracle of Mind app, Sadhguru’s free guided meditation offering, making it more accessible to Kannada-speaking audiences and expanding access to simple tools for mental wellbeing.
The programme will begin at 8 am with cultural performances by Sounds of Isha and Project Samskriti, followed by the National Anthem, addresses by chief guests, and guided yoga and meditation sessions.
Participants will be guided through Upa Yoga, Yoga Namaskar, Neck Practices, and Miracle of Mind, offering a practical experience of yoga as a holistic process for physical ease, mental balance, and inner wellbeing.
Beyond International Day of Yoga, Sadhguru Sannidhi Bengaluru offers free daily yoga sessions in Kannada, English, Telugu, and Hindi, along with Classical Hatha Yoga programmes and residential offerings led by teachers trained at Sadhguru Gurukulam.
