Quadrupling work between Bengaluru Cantonment and Whitefield was progressing swiftly and a Mega Coaching Terminal was being considered at Yelahanka.

Later, the Minister inaugurated the reconstructed ROB No. 431 between Vijayanagar and Padarayanapura, built at a cost of ₹14 crore. He said the bridge would benefit a large number of people from Goripalya, Vijayanagar and surrounding areas by easing traffic congestion and improving connectivity.
