‘Class Act’: Embassy REIT helps equip Rajanakunte Government PU College with better infrastructure

Bengaluru: Embassy REIT, along with corporate partner dSPACE India Solutions Private Limited and implementing partner Bangalore North Round Table Trust, handed over the newly built first-floor infrastructure at Government PU College, Rajanukunte, in North Bengaluru on Saturday.

The project is part of Embassy REIT’s Community Outreach Initiatives and its Corporate Connect programme, which brings occupier partners together to create meaningful social impact in communities around its business parks.

In Phase 1, Embassy REIT built four classrooms and eight toilets for the college, enabling students to move from temporary spare rooms in a nearby high school to dedicated learning infrastructure. Following this, student enrolment grew significantly, crossing 300 students.

To support this growth and address the need for additional classrooms, dSPACE India Solutions Private Limited partnered with Embassy REIT and Bangalore North Round Table Trust for Phase 2.

The new first-floor facility includes four classrooms, four toilets, a Principal’s Room and a Staff Room.

The official inauguration was held recently in the presence of S.R. Vishwanath, MLA, Yelahanka, Jitu Virwani, Chairman, Embassy Group, Andreas Gau – CEO, dSPACE India Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Shaina Ganapathy, Head (Community Outreach Initiatives), Embassy Group.

The expanded infrastructure will help the college accommodate two sections each in 1st and 2nd PUC across Commerce and Science streams, providing students from Rajankunte and nearby villages access to a better, more conducive higher education environment.

Addressing the students, Jitu Virwani said: “Every classroom, desk and wall has been created with one hope — that each one of you will dream bigger than your circumstances. At Embassy REIT, our commitment does not end with constructing buildings. We believe infrastructure is only the beginning”.

Andreas Gau said: “We believe education is at the root of the development of society. I believe this will give you greater opportunities to pursue higher education and build successful careers. I sincerely hope that, one day, I’ll have the chance to see many of you shaping the future of our industry. That would truly be my goal.”
