BEL bags ₹1,660-crore worth orders, reinforcing ‘Self-Reliance Mission’

Bengaluru: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured fresh orders worth ₹1,660 crore since its last disclosure on March 17, 2026, reinforcing its strong growth momentum.

The orders span key areas such as satellite communication networks, electronic warfare systems, communication equipment, and avionics — critical to modern defence operations. The company has also received contracts for software solutions, munitions, electronic voting machines (EVMs), and strategic components.

Additionally, the orders include upgrades, spares, and services, highlighting BEL’s strong lifecycle support capabilities.

The development aligns with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, with BEL continuing to play a vital role in strengthening indigenous defence manufacturing and enhancing the country’s strategic capability.
